My masquerade entry for Otakuthon 2013 in Montreal. I won "Best in Character" in the Journeyman division.

Late submission, I know, shh! As I am freezing my arse off, I thought I had to post something with bright sunshine in it!

This picture was taken in Montreal's Old Port... it's difficult to find appropriate shooting locations around the Convention Centre.


I am sad to say that, because of my work, a lot of things were rushed on this cosplay. My quiver and arrows are held together by mostly hot glue. However, I love my choice of fabrics. The dress is a highland wool serge (how much more perfect could you get for a tomboyish, Scottish princess?) and the cape is really thick coat wool. Needless to say, I was dying of heat. But it was well worth it.
